Hello everyone!

Been cracking on with organising the 'Dr Who' group for UK Games Expo 2010 and a whole group of lovely people have jumped on-board! we're raising money for the Association of International Cancer Research (AICR), in memory of my late father. The event is being held at Birmingham in June, so if you are around that weekend and at a loose end give us a look-in! I've made a little vid to promote it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jATa-6… - includes David Tennant!

Our page on the official website: www.aicr.org.uk/DoctorWhoCostu…

Not much else to report save that things are moving behind scenes for 'Time War 2010' already, promising to be bigger and better than last year. To my knowledge no one has attempted or plans to attempt building the new (power ranger - bumber car) daleks, and if they did that will need one BIG car to transport!

Cosplay wardrobe has not been expanded upon, due to money mainly and lack of luck/items on eBay. I know, shouldn't complain as I've got quite a number of Rose's costumes already... but 'The Parting of Ways' and 'School Reunion' remain high on my wants list still. Maybe by this time next year? *laugh*

If money and wardrobe space were not such an issue I'd be tempted to try and do one of those cool vampire-girls from this saturday's WHO episode - great costumes there. The episodes with the Weeping Angels were the first ones I found myself watching more than once and finding nothing to really niggle at. Looking fwd to seeing where these cracks in time will end, am loving all the theories being thrown around the net!

Hope all is well and maybe see you around in the next few months!

I've just got back home from a very long and very fun day out in Coventry with a group of Whovian cosplayers!

It has been a rather mad, fun and geeky day to say the least! Much thanks must go to Lisa and Jann, Lisa who did so much organising for the event and Jann for being a rather awesome photographer and making sure everyone knew what she needed and where. Cannot wait to see the results from Jann's camera, but wait we must. Thankfully a few of us were camera happy and did quite a few shots of our own, which we can share now - watch this space as things are updated.

Must also say a big thank you to Chantal (the other Rose) for showing me the sights of Coventry, I need to go again as I didn't get a chance to do it all! Always a pleasure hanging out with her, looking fwd to our next adventure.

My costume was Rose Tyler's 'The Christmas Invasion' grey hoodie. Having newly acquired it (miracle!) this was my first time wearing it, along with the jacket. Sadly I didn't have a 10th Doctor in PJs but had a lovely 9th Dr (matt) to pose with, along with a fantastic group of cosplayers. We were so lucky with the weather and lack of train strike today - love it when a plan comes together!

Hope you enjoy the shots, thanks for stopping by!

So long RTD-era and hello Moffat-time!

I enjoyed the first Matt Smith episode, it was good fun and entertaining. Won't deny that the theme tune intro is not to my liking, much improved once the tune kicks in however (I loved the old style theme more than the RTD-era one anyways). Also wasn't that impressed with the title credits, and yes - it could be with time they will grow on me...but at the moment it is a 'no'.

What I am not getting is the 'wow' factor many others have been displaying in various online media...a few of my friends share this. We do also understand there is only so much you can fit into the first episode and look forward to watching characters grow over the weeks. I definitely cannot wait to meet River Song again and some Italian vampires!

Rose Tyler and the Doctor are still my number one duo of choice, even if it appears to be 'uncool' to say this by some. Series 1, episode 1 back in 2005 - I got that 'wow' factor and though it did waver over time (mainly series 3) there was just something about the RTD-era that worked for me and I shall miss it. Now the show has moved on, as it should, and is new and different and I love WHO for being able to do this...and I am glad it has made me realise how much RTD-era was 'my era'.

Whatever your personal views there is one thing that unites all fans...

The Doctor is definately a weird man with a big blue box - and we love it!

Hello again everyone!

As you can see 2010 has barely started and already managed to squeeze in a visit to the rift/Cardiff last month. Had a lovely time with the guys and managed to get a few photos of the BBC Exhibition and of myself - wish I had taken more! Keep posted for updates as I find and edit photos from my time there. Was good to see that the costumes I'd seen up for auction were duplicates and the other versions were still on display. Was very sad the costumes had to be sold at all, esp. when I couldn't afford any of it!

No major updates for my 'Doctor Who' costume wardrobe, the year is yet young I guess! Just not having any luck on eBay recently... Update: April 3rd - might have 'The Christmas Invasion' outfit to showcase soon!

I plan on going to Coventry for a WHO-cosplay meet-up in April over Easter, railways strikes allowing! If you are at a loose end and fancy tagging along let me know and I'll fwd the details onto you!

Not long until 'The 11th Hour' and I can't wait! Matt Smith and Karen look very promising! *touches wood*

First I must say 2009 was an unexpected year in many ways, esp. the WHO-related stuff. Never thought I'd have half the images I have managed to show you on here. Visiting Cardiff, Blackpool and various conventions! Here is a video I made of some of the 'best bits of 2009': www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mb1Q5…

We have also said goodbye to the 10th Doctor, and though I have been through most of the previous Doctors' episodes Mr Tennant is certainly one of my favourites. 'The End of Time' was a big bang of an ending for him and though I have a few quibbles on the whole it was very well done. Rassilon returned!! Did not see that coming!! Least now we all know where my latest costume fits into the story, be it for like 2 minutes of screen time, ha ha: gimitrozemitra.deviantart.com/…

Had hoped to show you some pictures of 'End of Time' Rose AND Doctor but that didn't happen for one reason and another... Also have added 'The Empty Child' Rose costume to my wardrobe, again, no great photo to show you of that one either yet. Watch this space!

Goodbye 10, but hello 11! Am very excited by the sneak peak the BBC have shown us, I think I could grow to like Matt Smith in the role from bits I've read about his performance. Roll on springtime.

Hope you all enjoyed the show too!

Oh and DT fans? Keep an eye out for series 3 of 'Secret Diaries of a Callgirl', sounds promising! ;)
